Dress Code
You
should be modest in dance dress attire.
Females
should wear leotards and tights, Leotard top that
covers mid and upper sections completely, if you
wear spankies you must make sure they are long
enough, or wear tights under them. Cheer shorts
may be worn but you must wear spankies or leotard
under them. Jazz pants and Capris are acceptable
in all classes.
You
must wear either a cover up or a wrap style skirt
when not in the classroom unless you are in
Capris or Pants.
Ballet,
Ballet Conditioning and Pointe Classes must wear
Black Leotard and Pink Tights. This is a
mandatory dress code. If you want you can also
wear a sheer short black skirt. If you are not
dressed properly you will be told to call your
parent and have them bring you appropriate dress.
Hair
must be up and secured away from face.
Males
should wear body armor for top and bottom, tank
tops and/or long basketball shorts.
Males
& Females are not to show any of their
stomach while in the studio, if your tops are too
short, you need to wear a leotard.
No
jewelry worn while in dance class. Suggestion:
Keep a ziplock bag in your dance bag to keep your
jewelry in.
We
recommend that all students keep an extra set of
spankies, tights and leotard in their dance bag
in case they need to adjust their attire upon
arrival.
We
strongly encourage all dancers to wear street
clothes over their dance attire. What is
appropriate in a dance room is not always
appropriate on the street.
Creative
Students - While we do not have a color system we
do encourage all of our students to wear leotard
and tights. Ballet skirts and one piece dance
skirts are acceptable.
Appropriate
Shoes - Your instructor will tell you their shoe
preference at registration or on the first day of
class.
